Great Education with Technology

DelCampo School and DelCampo Academy will provide a MacBook Air to each staff member to continue our relentless pursuit to “Foster Students’ Highest Potential.” With this investment, we are equipping educators and students with essential tools and opportunities to teach and lead in a digital world.

This initiative will build on the extraordinary success of the 1-to-1 iPad program we launched back in 2011, when our school was the first in Central America to provide each student with an iPad to enhance their learning. Today, we are escalating this initiative by standardizing all our technology platforms to the latest Apple technology and continued access to a full range of software used across the spectrum of college preparatory courses at our school. Our teachers will have the tools to take our education to even greater heights.

“The Pandemic was tough on the worldwide educational community, and the best results in student learning were observed by schools who embraced the use of technology in their curriculum. We are proud to say that for DelCampo School, this transition came naturally as a logical result of our vision of integrating technology in the classroom back in 2011. Throughout the Pandemic, our students and staff were able to continue learning from home seamlessly.” - said Eloisa Rodriguez, DelCampo School Superintendent.

Our students have been engaged with digital technology and tools for decades, starting in 1998 when we implemented the first Apple Computer Lab on our campus. Being at the forefront of educational best practices has greatly impacted our teaching and learning, preparing our students to reach their highest potential, as evidenced by admissions to renowned universities globally, including Stanford and Harvard. At DelCampo School, technology has been an integral part of learning for decades. We immerse our curriculum with technologies like Canvas, PowerSchool, and Seesaw, where students can fully engage themselves in their learning, whether on or off-campus. These strategies are integral to positioning our students as worldwide contenders in a digital world.
