DelCampo School and DelCampo Academy were recognized by COGNIA with the highest mark of distinction for The Third Consecutive Time.

To provide a child with the best education is one of parents’ main concerns, but how can we validate what truly quality education is?

This question is precisely answered by one of the most comprehensive accreditation institutions around the world; COGNIA. COGNIA’s accreditation process is like no other. Their research based and rigorous performance standards assure that DCS and DCA offer the highest quality in the learning process throughout time.

Based on their recent results of their rigorous accreditation processes, once again, COGNIA identified DCS and DCA as: “best examples of excellence in education and stand-out in service to students and their families.”

An accreditation process is overseen by international protocols to verify the sustainability and improvement of school systems while ensuring and strengthening the institution's capacity to promote student learning. Lastly, it stimulates and elevates the effectiveness of the institution.

Particularly, COGNIA accreditation ensures that an institution has the following four key characteristics of high-quality schools 1:
  • Healthy culture for learning: the institution’s focus on the challenges, joys, and opportunities for learning, and coherence with its mission and vision.

  • Leadership for learning: the responsibility of an institution’s leaders to influence and impact all aspects of the institution in positive ways.

  • Engagement of learning: the inclusion of all learners in the learning process, and their development of confidence and love of learning.

  • Growth in learning: the growth of learners in the programs and curricula provided by the institution and their readiness to successfully transition to the next levels of learning.

After an exhaustive educational audit, the COGNIA evaluation team commended us for the impact in teaching and learning, institutional leadership capacity, and the proper use of institutional resources. Nancy Golson, lead evaluator said: "DelCampo has developed not only global citizens but emotionally intelligent students".

With this accomplishment, DelCampo School and DelCampo Academy confirm once again their commitment to fostering students’ highest potential.

Eloisa Rodríguez, DelCampo School’s Superintendent, commented:  “It is this desire for continuous improvement that encourages us every day to continue being the best option and to provide the best educational services and school environments to our students.”
